Hello Butte County! We are ready for the Autumn season. We have changing leaves, baby lambs on the way and freezers full of meat for you. The farm has been busy getting ready for the fall season. Our sheep are ready to pop they are so full of baby lambs. We have moved the mommas closer to the house and bedded them in so that baby and mamma are cozy and comfortable.
Our chickens are plump as well weighing in around 3-5lbs. Perfect for your Thanksgiving table. Our family always cooks up 3 birds 3 different ways. We encourage you to pick one up and make it your way. We will be returning to our twice a week CSA pick ups in Chico, Ca. We are also available for delivery if it fits into our schedule.

Turkey Tail Farm returns to GRUB CSA and HeartSeed CSA pick up!
GRUB, Tuesday, November 18th, 2014, 4-6pm. West Sacramento.
HeartSeed, Wednesday November 19th, 4-7pm. 1525 Dayton Rd.
Turkey Tail Farm has pasture raised, organically feed, humanely harvested chickens for sale. Our chickens are Cornish rock x variety, feed an organic diet, probiotics, grit, kelp, electrolytes and moved onto fresh ground every day. The chickens are sold by the pound with weights from 3-5 lbs at $5.25 per pound.
Chickens heads and feet are available for soup stock making. You get 4 feet and two heads @ $5.
We also have dog treats available. With our chicken, organic oats and organic vegetables. For $10 for a 2lb bag.
Of Course we always have a bit of color for the season. This month we have a spicy pepper, broom corn and wheat bouquet for sale for $5 a bunch. Thank you again for all you support and for enjoying our food. Please like us on Facebook!
